Favorite movie scenes: Day after tomorrow

One of my favorite scenes is in the movie The Day After Tomorrow. A group of people sought shelter in the library. They were burning books to keep warm. There was a middle-aged male librarian sitting down holding a Bible very tightly. A young woman asks him if he thinks that the Bible will save his life. He responds that he's an atheist, but that was not the reason why he was holding to the Bible so tightly. He is protecting it fom the guys throwing books into the fire; because the Bible was the first book ever written. It simbolizes the dawning of reason and if modern civilization was over - then he was going to save at least a part of it.

He never let it go.
