Duncan, my new dog

Well hello, I got a new dog. His name is Duncan. Actually, I adopted him from the local animal shelter. He is a cute beagle. Reminds me of a caring little grandfather guy. He snores and eats a lot. Those are his two main abilities. He is very cute!

At first, I was reluctant on adopting a dog. I have always felt that instead of buying a new dog, people should adopt one. First, it is a lot cheaper. Sencond and more importantly, we are providing a home and much needed affection to a little guy that deserves it. My dog is extremely affectionate. That is why I don't even want to think about how unhappy he must have been alone in the shelter. Surprisingly, there are a lot of volunteers who take good care of the animals there. But still, he likes to be beside me so much that I can't help but think how wonderful it would be if his pals at the shelter could get a home (and a family) too.
